One day Jon Rogone was drinking a cup of coffee. Benny Yurco doesn't like coffee. He said "why do you drink that coffee, John?" John said "get fucked". They became fast friends. Scott Tournet and Steve Sharon owned a motorcycle with a side-car and were always arguing about who rode bitch. No one ever won the argument so they walked around town without talking. Matt Burr has a nice mustache like Jim Croce. He stole the motorcycle with the side-car and rigged up a method of driving it while riding in the side-car. Steve and Scott chased him down the road waving sticks in the air. "Give us our motorcycle back", they yelled. While navigating a particularly curvy corner, Matt ran into the coffee shop where John was drinking coffee and Benny was busking. Steve and Scott caught up to Matt but liked his mustache so much that they forgot about the motorcycle. Benny owns a million guitars so he gave Scott an SG and John a Fender P-Bass. Matt owns too many drums and Steve owns too many cymbals. Together they built the biggest drumset in the northerwestern region of northwest Burlington, VT (which is in the northeast.). They set up and played until the cops came.

Enter Blues and Lasers...electric sonic brainchild of Scott Tournet, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter, impassioned by big beat, guitar-heavy, swampy, reverbadelic walls of sound that focus on present time chaos. On break from touring with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Tournet pulled together four players who not only assist in completing this vision, but morph it into a larger, if not more poignant entity. Mastering the elusive low end pulse is John Rogone (aka, Johnny Solid), a finger bass guitarist, backing vocalist and java hustler. Driving and grounding the rhythm section are drummers Steve Sharon, (aka, VC Steve) & fellow Grace Potter and the Nocturnals mustached drummer, Matt Burr (aka, Croache). Contributing songs, vocals, and guitar is Ben Yurco, a sorcerer of electric tree and dimed out fender amplifiers. Together, these five players create a thick rogue wave of sound that can knock you on your ass...or carry you away on an unwavering unicorn of majestic light.
Whichever you prefer.
